Calibre Scientific Acquires Kalon Biological and Clin-Tech
Calibre Scientific is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of Kalon Biological Limited and Clin-Tech Limited (together “KalonBio“ or the “Company”). The Company specializes in the development and manufacture of a range of medical diagnostic kits, commercial ELISA (enzyme immunoassays [EIA]) kits and reagents for the healthcare and life sciences industry.
Kalon Biological is headquartered in Guildford, UK, and is comprised of the following brands: KalonBio, Clin-Tech, and Microimmune. KalonBio specializes in the design and manufacture of in-vitro diagnostic (“IVD”) medical devices and commercial ELISA kits. Clin-Tech provides stains, reagents, and diagnostic kits across a broad product portfolio. And, Microimmune provides IVD products focused on measles, mumps, and rubella testing to hospitals, central testing labs and distribution partners internationally.
